Rally To The Crouch
Event Description
This rally will be held on the River Crouch. This weekend is the start of Burnham Week, so there will be plenty of activity on the river.
Saturday. Burnham Yacht Harbour
1600 Pontoon gathering at Burnham Yacht Harbour on “Jemma” and “Aquisse”.
Evening meal at the Royal Corinthian Sailing Club – a short walk along the picturesque seafront at Burnham.
The Corinthian is hosting a Mediterranean themed evening. Please advise the number of people who would like to attend, and I will follow up with you to confirm the booking.
HW at Burnham is 1406, making the passage for boats visiting the Crouch agreeable.

Burnham Yacht Harbour will reserve spaces nearer the time, when numbers have been confirmed.
Sunday. Sail to Fambridge
A sail in company up the river Crouch to North Fambridge, with the intention of anchoring for the day past the swinging moorings at Fambridge Yacht Haven and exploring the creeks by dinghy. If yachts do not have a dinghy, space may be found with others.
This was a splendid adventure last year, ending up with a fleet of dinghies all tied to “Aquisse” for tea, cakes and drinks.
HW Fambridge is 1420, perfect for creek exploration.
Yachts can remain at anchor at Fambridge overnight, or use Fambridge Yacht Haven’s mid river Yacht Station pontoon, or the marina.
The Ferryboat Inn is very close by for drinks, but stops serving food at 1745.

Fambridge Yacht Haven will reserve berths for us once I can confirm numbers.
Depending on the number of visiting yachts, and their crew’s intentions, the evening gathering could be at anchor or in the marina.
Monday, Return to home ports
